This Privacy Policy describes how SkedgeIt collects, uses, stores, and discloses information when You use the SkedgeIt mobile application, the website located at justskedgeit.com, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). It also describes Your privacy rights and how applicable law may protect You.
We use Personal Data to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service. We collect, use, and disclose information as described in this Privacy Policy and, where required by applicable law, only where We have a valid legal basis to do so.
Interpretation and Definitions
Interpretation
The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. These definitions have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or plural.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

Third-Party Sign-In Provider means a third-party service, such as Apple or Google, through which a User may create or access an Account.

You means the individual accessing or using the Service, or the company or other legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using the Service, as applicable.
Collecting and Using Your Personal Information
Types of Data Collected
Personal Data You Provide
While using Our Service, We may ask You to provide certain information that can be used to create or manage Your Account or provide features of the Service.
This information may include:
- Email address
- Username, display name, team name, or similar information You choose to provide through the Service
- Streaming-service selections, saved shows, viewing preferences, budget information, and other selections You make while using SkedgeIt
- Trivia activity, scores, points, rewards information, and related feature activity
- Information You provide when contacting Us for support or making a request
Usage and Technical Data
Certain technical information may be collected automatically when You access or use the Service.
Depending on how You access the Service, this information may include:
- Internet Protocol (IP) address
- Device type
- Operating system and operating-system version
- Application version
- Browser type and version when accessing Our website
- Unique or provider-generated device or account identifiers
- Date and time of access
- Security, diagnostic, error, and server-log information
- Interactions with features of the Service that are necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, or improve those features
We do not use a general-purpose advertising or behavioral analytics SDK in the SkedgeIt Application at this time.
Information from Apple and Google Sign-In
The Company allows You to create or access an Account using the following Third-Party Sign-In Providers:
- Apple
If You create or access Your SkedgeIt Account using Google or Apple, We may receive information made available by that provider through the authentication process. Depending on the provider and Your settings, this may include Your email address, a provider-specific account identifier, Your name if provided by the authentication provider, or other basic account information included in the authentication response.
When using Sign in with Apple, Apple may provide a private relay email address instead of Your personal email address if You choose Apple’s Hide My Email option.
SkedgeIt does not request or collect Your Apple or Google contacts, contact lists, social posts, social activity, messages, or other unrelated information from those services.
Subscription and Purchase Information
If You purchase SkedgeIt Plus or another paid feature through the Apple App Store or Google Play, the applicable app marketplace processes Your payment.
SkedgeIt does not receive or store Your complete payment-card information.
We may receive and retain information necessary to provide and manage paid features, including:
- Purchase and transaction identifiers
- Product or subscription purchased
- Subscription status
- Renewal or cancellation status
- Purchase or expiration dates
- Entitlement information indicating whether paid features are available to Your Account
Push Notification Information
If You enable push notifications, We and Our notification Service Providers may process information necessary to deliver those notifications, such as a push notification token, Device information, and notification preferences.
You may disable push notifications at any time through Your Device settings.
How We Use Your Personal Data
The Company may use Personal Data for the following purposes:

To provide and maintain Our Service: including operating the Application, maintaining Your Account, saving Your selections and preferences, and providing the features You request.

To manage Your Account: including registration, authentication, Account security, and access to free or paid functionality.

To manage subscriptions and paid features: including validating subscription status, determining eligibility for SkedgeIt Plus features, processing entitlement information, and resolving subscription-related issues.

To provide streaming-planning functionality: including using Your selected streaming services, shows, budget preferences, and related information to provide recommendations, schedules, savings estimates, reminders, and other SkedgeIt features.

To operate trivia, points, and rewards features: including recording scores, points, eligibility, and redemption-related information.

To contact You: including sending Account-related emails, authentication or security communications, support responses, subscription-related information, and, when enabled by You, mobile push notifications relating to Service functionality, reminders, alerts, or other features.

To manage Your requests: including responding to privacy requests, support inquiries, Account-deletion requests, and other communications from You.

To protect the Service: including preventing fraud, abuse, unauthorized access, security threats, manipulation of rewards or subscriptions, and violations of Our Terms of Service.

To troubleshoot and improve the Service: including diagnosing errors, maintaining infrastructure, understanding feature performance, and improving functionality and reliability.

For business transfers: We may use or transfer Personal Data in connection with the evaluation or completion of a merger, financing, restructuring, acquisition, sale of assets, or similar transaction involving all or part of SkedgeIt.

To comply with legal obligations: including responding to lawful requests, complying with applicable tax or recordkeeping requirements, resolving disputes, and enforcing Our agreements.
How We Share Personal Data
We may share Personal Data in the following circumstances:

With Service Providers: We may provide information to companies that help Us operate, secure, support, distribute, communicate through, or provide functionality within the Service.

For app-store purchases and subscriptions: Information necessary to process or manage purchases may be processed by Apple, Google, and subscription-management providers used by SkedgeIt.

For business transfers: Personal Data may be transferred in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, sale of assets, restructuring, or similar business transaction.

With Your consent: We may disclose Personal Data for another purpose when You direct or authorize Us to do so.

For legal or security reasons: We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful government requests, protect the rights or safety of SkedgeIt or others, investigate fraud or security incidents, or enforce Our agreements.
SkedgeIt does not provide public user profiles, public messaging areas, or functionality that makes Your Account information visible to other SkedgeIt users by default.
Service Providers and Third-Party Platforms
We use third-party providers to operate and support SkedgeIt. Depending on how You use the Service, these providers may process Personal Data on Our behalf or receive information necessary to provide their respective services.
Supabase
We use Supabase for services that may include Account authentication, database functionality, backend infrastructure, and related technical services.
Supabase may process information such as Your email address, authentication information, provider-generated identity information, Account identifiers, IP address, and information stored in connection with Your SkedgeIt Account.
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to help manage in-app subscriptions and determine access to paid SkedgeIt features.
RevenueCat may process information such as subscription status, product identifiers, transaction or purchase identifiers, renewal status, entitlement status, and information necessary to associate a subscription with Your SkedgeIt Account.
RevenueCat does not provide SkedgeIt with Your complete payment-card information.
Apple
Apple may process information when You use Sign in with Apple, download SkedgeIt through the Apple App Store, purchase a subscription through Apple’s in-app purchase system, or receive notifications through Apple-supported notification infrastructure.

Expo and Push Notification Infrastructure
SkedgeIt may use Expo and platform notification services to deliver push notifications when You enable them.
These services may process push tokens, Device information, and technical information necessary to route and deliver notifications.
Email Service Providers
We may use third-party email providers to deliver Account-related, security, support, and other Service communications.
Those providers may process Your email address and information necessary to deliver and manage the applicable message.
YouTube
SkedgeIt may display or link to trailers, videos, thumbnails, and other content made available through YouTube.
Your interaction with YouTube content may be subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and Google’s Privacy Policy.

Payments
SkedgeIt offers paid subscription features through the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Apple and Google process payments made through their respective marketplaces. SkedgeIt does not receive or store Your complete payment-card information.
SkedgeIt and its subscription-management providers may receive information necessary to validate purchases, determine subscription status, manage entitlements, and provide paid functionality.

Retention of Your Personal Data
We retain Personal Data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing and securing the Service, maintaining Your Account, resolving disputes, preventing fraud and abuse, complying with legal obligations, and enforcing Our agreements.
Account information is generally retained while Your Account remains active.
When You delete Your Account, We delete or de-identify Personal Data associated with Your Account where reasonably possible, except for information that We are required or permitted to retain for legitimate legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, subscription-management, or dispute-resolution purposes.
Certain transaction, subscription, entitlement, security, fraud-prevention, and technical records may remain after Account deletion where reasonably necessary for those purposes or to comply with applicable law.
We may retain information for different periods depending on the category of information and the reason for which it was collected.
Information contained in backups may remain for a limited period until those backups are overwritten or deleted through Our normal backup and disaster-recovery processes.
We may also retain information longer where:
- We are required to do so by law;
- the information is reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
- the information is necessary for fraud prevention, security, or investigation of abuse;
- You specifically request that We retain certain information where legally permissible; or
- technical limitations require information to remain temporarily in backup systems.
When Personal Data is no longer reasonably necessary, We may delete it or convert it into information that can no longer reasonably be linked to You.
Transfer of Your Personal Data
Your information may be processed in locations where SkedgeIt or Our Service Providers operate. This means information may be transferred to and maintained on systems located outside Your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction.
Privacy and data-protection laws in those locations may differ from the laws where You live.
Where required by applicable law, We will take reasonable steps to ensure that transfers of Personal Data are subject to appropriate protections.
Delete Your Personal Data
You have the right to delete or request deletion of Personal Data We have collected about You, subject to exceptions permitted or required by applicable law.
The Service provides functionality that allows You to initiate deletion of Your SkedgeIt Account.
You may also contact Us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of Personal Data associated with Your Account.
Please note that We may retain certain information when We have a legitimate legal basis or obligation to do so, including information reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, subscription or transaction records, dispute resolution, or compliance with applicable law.
Deleting Your SkedgeIt Account does not automatically cancel an Apple App Store or Google Play subscription. If You have an active paid subscription, You should separately manage or cancel it through the marketplace where You purchased it.
Disclosure of Your Personal Data
Business Transactions
If the Company is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, Personal Data may be transferred as part of that transaction. Where required by applicable law, We will provide appropriate notice before Your Personal Data becomes subject to materially different privacy practices.
Law Enforcement and Legal Requests
Under certain circumstances, the Company may disclose Personal Data if required to do so by law or in response to a valid legal request from a court, government agency, or other authorized public authority.
Other Legal and Security Requirements
The Company may disclose Personal Data when We reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to:
- Comply with a legal obligation;
- Protect and defend the rights or property of the Company;
- Prevent, investigate, or respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, or possible wrongdoing involving the Service;
- Protect the safety of Users or the public; or
- Protect against legal liability.
Security of Your Personal Data
The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
California Privacy Disclosures
Do Not Track Policy as Required by the California Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)
Some web browsers provide a “Do Not Track” or similar signal.
Our Service does not currently respond to traditional browser-based Do Not Track signals.
SkedgeIt does not use the Application for third-party behavioral advertising or cross-app advertising tracking at this time.
You may use Your browser, Device, operating-system, or platform privacy settings to control certain cookies, permissions, or tracking preferences that may be available through those systems.
Children’s and Minors’ Privacy
The Service is not directed to, and We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from, anyone under the age of 13.
Users under 13 may not create or use a SkedgeIt Account.
If You are a parent or guardian and believe a child under 13 has provided Personal Information to Us, please contact Us. If We become aware that We have knowingly collected Personal Information from a child under 13 in circumstances prohibited by applicable law, We will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
If You are between 13 and the age at which You may legally enter into a binding agreement or independently consent to applicable processing where You live, Your parent or legal guardian may be required to authorize Your use of the Service or the applicable processing of Your Personal Information.
Links and Third-Party Services
Our Service may contain links to or integrate content from websites and services that are not operated by Us.
If You interact with a third-party service, You may be subject to that third party’s own terms and privacy practices.
We encourage You to review the privacy policies of third-party services You use.
We do not control and are not responsible for the independent privacy practices of third parties.
Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where You live, applicable law may provide rights regarding Your Personal Data.
These rights may include the right to:
- Request access to Personal Data We maintain about You;
- Request correction of inaccurate Personal Data;
- Request deletion of Personal Data, subject to applicable exceptions;

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Service, Our data practices, Service Providers, legal requirements, or other operational needs.
When We make changes, We will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this Privacy Policy.
Where required by applicable law, We may also provide notice through the Application, by email, through Our website, or by another appropriate method before a material change becomes effective.
