SkedgeIt Terms of Service
Effective Date: August 22, 2026
Last Updated: August 22, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the SkedgeIt mobile application, the website located at justskedgeit.com, and related services, features, content, tools, and functionality (collectively, the “Service”).
SkedgeIt (“SkedgeIt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the Service.
By creating an account, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.
1. What SkedgeIt Does
SkedgeIt is a streaming-planning and entertainment-management service designed to help users organize television shows and streaming services, plan when to watch content, estimate streaming costs, identify potential opportunities to reduce streaming expenses, receive reminders, discover content, and participate in entertainment-related features such as trivia and rewards.
SkedgeIt is an independent service.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, SkedgeIt is not owned by, operated by, sponsored by, endorsed by, or affiliated with any streaming service, television network, movie studio, content owner, app marketplace, or other third-party provider referenced through the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use SkedgeIt.
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and users under 13 may not create an account or use the Service.
If you are between 13 and the age at which you may legally enter into a binding contract where you live, you may use SkedgeIt only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
If you use SkedgeIt on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Your Account
Certain features require a SkedgeIt account.
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure.
You are responsible for activity occurring through your account unless that activity results from circumstances outside your reasonable control.
You may not:
- impersonate another person or organization;
- create an account using information you are not authorized to use;
- share account credentials in a manner intended to circumvent subscription or usage restrictions;
- use automated systems to create accounts or manipulate the Service;
- attempt to obtain paid functionality without authorization; or
- use your account for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or disruptive activity.
Please contact us at legal@justskedgeit.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.
4. Display Names and User-Provided Information
SkedgeIt may allow you to select a display name or provide other account information.
You may not use a display name or submit information that:
- impersonates another person or organization;
- infringes another party’s trademark, copyright, publicity, privacy, or other rights;
- contains unlawful, threatening, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or abusive material;
- is intended to deceive SkedgeIt or other users; or
- interferes with operation of the Service.
We may remove or require modification of a display name or other submitted information when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, comply with applicable law, or prevent misuse of the Service.
5. Free and Paid Features
SkedgeIt may offer both free and paid functionality.
Features available through a free account may differ from features available through a paid subscription such as SkedgeIt Plus.
We may add, remove, modify, test, or reorganize features over time.
We will not intentionally remove access to a material paid benefit during an already-paid subscription period without providing an appropriate remedy where required by applicable law or app-marketplace rules.
Features described in promotional materials, screenshots, previews, roadmaps, beta releases, prototypes, or “coming soon” descriptions are not guaranteed to be released or remain available unless expressly stated otherwise.
6. SkedgeIt Plus Subscriptions
SkedgeIt Plus may be offered as an automatically renewing subscription through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another authorized marketplace.
The subscription price, billing period, promotional offer, trial terms, taxes, and other purchase information displayed to you at the time of purchase form part of your subscription agreement.
Unless stated otherwise when you purchase the subscription, an automatically renewing subscription continues for successive billing periods until canceled.
App Marketplace Billing
When you purchase SkedgeIt Plus through Apple, Google, or another app marketplace:
- the marketplace processes your payment;
- the marketplace’s billing and payment terms also apply;
- available payment methods are determined by the marketplace;
- subscription renewal is handled through the marketplace; and
- cancellation and refund requests may need to be made through that marketplace.
SkedgeIt does not receive or store your complete App Store or Google Play payment-card information.
7. Canceling a SkedgeIt Plus Subscription
You may cancel an automatically renewing subscription using the subscription-management tools provided by the marketplace through which you subscribed.
Canceling a subscription generally stops future renewal.
Unless the applicable marketplace, promotion, or law provides otherwise, cancellation does not immediately terminate access you have already paid for. Your Plus access may continue until the end of the current paid subscription period.
Deleting the SkedgeIt application from your device does not cancel your subscription.
Account Deletion Does Not Automatically Cancel Store Billing
Deleting your SkedgeIt account also does not necessarily cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription.
SkedgeIt account management and marketplace subscription billing are separate systems.
If you purchased SkedgeIt Plus through an app marketplace and do not want the subscription to renew, you should separately cancel the subscription using the subscription-management tools provided by that marketplace.
8. Refunds
Purchases made through Apple, Google, or another third-party marketplace are generally subject to that marketplace’s refund policies and procedures.
Where a marketplace controls the transaction, SkedgeIt may not have the ability to issue a refund directly.
Nothing in these Terms limits any refund, cancellation, cooling-off, or other consumer right that cannot legally be waived where you live.
9. Streaming Costs and Savings Estimates
SkedgeIt provides informational tools designed to help users understand, organize, and potentially reduce their streaming expenses.
Any savings figures, projected costs, subscription recommendations, optimization suggestions, budget comparisons, net-value calculations, or similar information displayed by SkedgeIt are estimates only.
Actual costs and savings may differ because of factors including:
- price changes by streaming providers;
- taxes and fees;
- promotional pricing;
- bundles;
- annual versus monthly billing;
- geographic pricing;
- grandfathered plans;
- advertising-supported versus ad-free tiers;
- household or family plans;
- provider-specific discounts;
- billing dates;
- provider-specific policies;
- content availability changes; and
- information entered or selected by the user.
SkedgeIt does not guarantee that following a recommendation will result in any specific financial savings.
SkedgeIt is an organizational and informational tool. It does not provide financial, legal, tax, accounting, or professional financial-planning advice.
You remain responsible for reviewing the actual prices, billing terms, cancellation policies, and other conditions offered by your streaming providers before making a purchasing, subscription, or cancellation decision.
10. AutoPilot, Recommendations, and Reminders
SkedgeIt may provide automated or semi-automated recommendations, reminders, alerts, scheduling suggestions, subscription-rotation suggestions, or similar functionality, including functionality referred to as AutoPilot.
These features are designed to help you make decisions.
Unless SkedgeIt expressly introduces a separate feature stating otherwise, SkedgeIt:
- does not act as your agent;
- does not have authority to enter into contracts for you;
- does not automatically purchase third-party streaming subscriptions for you;
- does not automatically cancel third-party streaming subscriptions for you;
- does not modify your account with a third-party streaming provider;
- does not control the billing systems of third-party streaming providers; and
- does not guarantee that an alert or recommendation will arrive before a billing, renewal, or cancellation deadline.
You remain responsible for managing your relationships, accounts, subscriptions, payments, cancellations, and billing directly with the applicable streaming provider.
An AutoPilot recommendation, notification, reminder, or other SkedgeIt feature should not be treated as confirmation that a third-party subscription has been started, canceled, paused, modified, or refunded.
11. Streaming Availability, Dates, Pricing, and Metadata
SkedgeIt may display information about television programs, movies, streaming services, release dates, episode schedules, availability, pricing, trailers, and other entertainment-related information.
Some of this information may originate from publicly available information, third-party APIs, licensors, data providers, streaming services, studios, networks, users, or other third parties.
Entertainment information can change rapidly.
We therefore do not guarantee that:
- a title will remain available on a particular streaming service;
- a scheduled release date will not change;
- an episode will become available at a particular time;
- every streaming service or plan is represented;
- displayed subscription pricing is current in every location;
- every season or episode is included with a particular subscription;
- third-party metadata is complete or error-free; or
- information shown by SkedgeIt will always match information shown directly by a streaming provider.
Before subscribing, canceling, purchasing, renting, or otherwise spending money based on information displayed by SkedgeIt, you should verify material details with the applicable provider.
12. Third-Party Streaming Services
SkedgeIt helps organize information about third-party streaming services but does not itself provide those streaming services.
Your use of Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Max, Peacock, Paramount+, Apple TV, Prime Video, YouTube, or any other third-party service is governed by your agreement with that provider.
SkedgeIt is not responsible for:
- changes to a third-party provider’s prices;
- removal or addition of programming;
- service outages;
- billing errors by the provider;
- cancellation policies;
- advertisements;
- content quality;
- geographic restrictions;
- account restrictions; or
- other actions taken by a third-party service.
Reference to a third-party service does not mean that the third party sponsors, endorses, or is affiliated with SkedgeIt.
13. YouTube Videos, Trailers, Links, and External Media
SkedgeIt may display thumbnails, links, embedded players, trailers, videos, or other content made available through YouTube or another third-party service.
That content remains subject to the rights and terms of the applicable content owner and platform.
When you access YouTube content or another external service, your use of that service may also be governed by its own terms of service and privacy policies.
SkedgeIt does not claim ownership of third-party videos, trailers, thumbnails, titles, artwork, trademarks, or other content merely because they are displayed, referenced, linked, or embedded through the Service.
Third-party content may be removed, restricted, made private, age-restricted, geographically limited, or otherwise become unavailable without notice.
14. Points, Rewards, and Virtual Items
SkedgeIt may offer points, trivia scores, achievements, promotional credits, virtual items, coupons, rewards, or similar features.
Unless expressly stated otherwise:
- SkedgeIt points and virtual items have no cash value;
- they are not legal tender;
- they are not stored-value accounts;
- they are not cryptocurrency;
- they are not bank deposits or financial accounts;
- they do not represent money owed to you by SkedgeIt;
- they may not be sold, traded, or transferred between users;
- they cannot be exchanged for cash; and
- they are intended solely for use within the applicable SkedgeIt feature or reward program.
Earning points does not guarantee that a particular reward will remain available.
Rewards may be:
- available only while supplies last;
- subject to eligibility requirements;
- subject to geographic restrictions;
- subject to expiration dates disclosed with the reward;
- supplied or redeemed by third parties; or
- subject to separate promotional terms.
SkedgeIt may correct a points balance resulting from technical errors, duplicate awards, manipulation, fraud, abuse, or violation of these Terms.
We will not intentionally remove legitimately earned points or rewards arbitrarily.
However, we may modify, suspend, or discontinue a points or rewards program prospectively, subject to applicable law and any specific terms associated with an already-issued reward.
Third-Party Rewards
A coupon, discount, gift code, promotional benefit, or other reward redeemed through another company is also subject to that company’s terms and redemption requirements.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, a third-party merchant providing or accepting a reward does not sponsor, administer, or endorse SkedgeIt.
15. Trivia and Entertainment Features
Trivia and similar features are provided primarily for entertainment.
Questions, answers, scores, rankings, timers, and results may occasionally contain errors or become outdated.
You may not use bots, automation, exploits, scripts, multiple accounts, manipulated devices, or other techniques to obtain points, rewards, scores, rankings, or benefits unfairly.
SkedgeIt may invalidate results, points, or rewards reasonably determined to have resulted from fraud, manipulation, technical exploitation, or violation of these Terms.
16. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of applicable law;
- attempt to bypass security, subscription, entitlement, rate-limit, or access controls;
- reverse engineer or decompile the Service except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- probe or test SkedgeIt systems for vulnerabilities without authorization;
- introduce malware, malicious code, or harmful data;
- scrape or systematically extract content except as expressly permitted;
- interfere with another user’s access to the Service;
- use automated means to manipulate trivia, rewards, subscriptions, accounts, rankings, or engagement;
- fraudulently obtain or attempt to obtain rewards or paid features;
- misuse SkedgeIt branding or intellectual property in a manner that falsely suggests endorsement or affiliation;
- use the Service to infringe another party’s intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights; or
- use the Service in a manner reasonably likely to disrupt, damage, or impair SkedgeIt or its underlying systems.
17. SkedgeIt Intellectual Property
The SkedgeIt application, website, software, source code, user interface, design, branding, logos, original graphics, original written material, algorithms, features, organization, and other materials created by or for SkedgeIt are owned by SkedgeIt or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Subject to these Terms, SkedgeIt grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.
This license does not transfer ownership of the Service or any SkedgeIt intellectual property to you.
18. Third-Party Trademarks and Content
Names, logos, program titles, streaming-service names, studio names, network names, characters, artwork, images, trailers, and other third-party intellectual property referenced through SkedgeIt remain the property of their respective owners.
This includes intellectual property belonging to streaming providers, television networks, studios, technology providers, merchants, reward providers, and other third parties.
Their appearance in SkedgeIt is for identification, informational, descriptive, linking, interoperability, or other lawful purposes and does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, or affiliation unless explicitly stated.
All third-party rights are reserved by their respective owners.
19. Feedback
If you voluntarily provide suggestions, ideas, bug reports, feature requests, comments, or other feedback regarding SkedgeIt, you give us permission to use that feedback to operate, improve, promote, and develop the Service without an obligation to compensate you.
This provision does not transfer ownership of your unrelated intellectual property or personal information to SkedgeIt.
20. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by the SkedgeIt Privacy Notice.
The Privacy Notice explains how SkedgeIt collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information and describes privacy choices and rights that may be available to you.
If these Terms and the Privacy Notice address the same privacy matter differently, the Privacy Notice controls with respect to the processing of personal information.
21. Account Deletion
You may request or initiate deletion of your SkedgeIt account using the mechanisms made available through the Service.
Deleting an account may result in permanent deletion or de-identification of account information, preferences, saved shows, history, points, and other information, subject to our Privacy Notice and information we are legally permitted or required to retain.
Deleting your SkedgeIt account does not automatically cancel an app-store subscription.
If you have an active paid subscription, you should separately verify and manage that subscription through the marketplace where you purchased it.
Once account information has been permanently deleted, SkedgeIt may be unable to recover it.
22. Service Availability
We work to keep SkedgeIt available and functioning properly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
The Service may occasionally be unavailable because of:
- maintenance;
- software updates;
- third-party outages;
- network problems;
- hosting failures;
- API or data-provider changes;
- security incidents;
- changes imposed by Apple, Google, streaming providers, or other platforms; or
- events outside our reasonable control.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service where reasonably necessary.
23. Beta, Preview, and Experimental Features
SkedgeIt may occasionally make experimental, beta, preview, or unreleased functionality available.
Such features may be incomplete, change substantially, contain errors, or be discontinued.
A roadmap, beta label, mockup, prototype, announcement, demonstration, or “coming soon” designation is not a contractual promise that a feature will be released or remain available.
24. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using SkedgeIt at any time.
SkedgeIt may restrict, suspend, or terminate access to the Service when reasonably necessary because of:
- material violation of these Terms;
- fraud or suspected fraud;
- abuse of points, rewards, subscriptions, or paid features;
- attempts to compromise the Service;
- unlawful activity;
- risk to other users or third parties;
- requirements imposed by law or an app marketplace; or
- discontinuation of the Service.
Where reasonable under the circumstances, we may provide notice or an opportunity to resolve an issue before permanent termination.
Termination of your SkedgeIt account does not itself cancel billing administered by an app marketplace.
25. Disclaimer of Warranties
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SKEDGEIT AND THE SERVICE ARE PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS.
SKEDGEIT DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, COMPLETELY ACCURATE, OR AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES.
WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, SKEDGEIT DOES NOT GUARANTEE THE ACCURACY OR CONTINUED AVAILABILITY OF THIRD-PARTY INFORMATION CONCERNING:
- STREAMING PRICES;
- PROGRAM AVAILABILITY;
- RELEASE DATES;
- EPISODE SCHEDULES;
- TRAILERS;
- SUBSCRIPTION TERMS;
- SAVINGS ESTIMATES; OR
- OTHER ENTERTAINMENT OR STREAMING INFORMATION.
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN WARRANTY DISCLAIMERS.
IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS, THIS SECTION APPLIES ONLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.
26. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SKEDGEIT AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, REPRESENTATIVES, AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
THIS INCLUDES, TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOSSES RESULTING FROM:
- RELIANCE ON A STREAMING SAVINGS ESTIMATE OR RECOMMENDATION;
- FAILURE TO CANCEL OR MODIFY A THIRD-PARTY STREAMING SUBSCRIPTION;
- FAILURE TO ACT ON A REMINDER OR NOTIFICATION;
- CHANGES IN STREAMING PRICES;
- CHANGES IN CONTENT AVAILABILITY;
- THIRD-PARTY BILLING;
- LOSS OF DATA;
- SERVICE INTERRUPTION;
- THIRD-PARTY SERVICES OR CONTENT; OR
- UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS NOT CAUSED BY SKEDGEIT’S FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH APPLICABLE LEGAL OBLIGATIONS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SKEDGEIT’S TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:
- THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR SKEDGEIT DURING THE 12 MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR
- US $100.
These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be excluded or limited, including rights and remedies that applicable consumer-protection law makes non-waivable.
27. Responsibility for Misuse
You are responsible for losses reasonably resulting from your intentional unlawful use of the Service, fraud, infringement of another party’s rights, or material violation of these Terms.
Nothing in this section requires a consumer to indemnify SkedgeIt for SkedgeIt’s own negligence, unlawful conduct, or breach of obligations that cannot legally be waived.
28. Apple App Store, Google Play, and Other App Marketplaces
If you downloaded SkedgeIt through the Apple App Store, Google Play, or another application marketplace, your use of the application may also be subject to that marketplace’s applicable terms, usage rules, billing policies, subscription rules, and license agreements.
For applications distributed through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s applicable standard end-user license terms may also apply unless SkedgeIt provides a separate valid custom end-user license agreement.
These Terms govern your relationship with SkedgeIt concerning the SkedgeIt Service.
Apple, Google, and other marketplaces are not parties to these Terms solely because they distribute the SkedgeIt application.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to modify rights or obligations between you and an app marketplace except where expressly permitted by that marketplace.
29. Consumer Rights
These Terms are not intended to eliminate rights that cannot legally be waived.
If consumer-protection, subscription, privacy, warranty, cancellation, refund, language, or other laws where you live provide rights that conflict with these Terms, those mandatory rights remain available to you.
30. Canadian and Québec Users
If you are a consumer residing in Canada, applicable federal and provincial consumer-protection laws may provide rights in addition to those described in these Terms.
If you are a consumer residing in Québec, additional mandatory protections under Québec law may apply to your use of the Service and any subscription purchased in connection with it.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive those mandatory protections.
Where Québec law requires a French-language version of these Terms or related consumer-contract documents to be provided or made available before a consumer elects to contract in another language, SkedgeIt will comply with those applicable requirements.
31. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, except to the extent the law where you reside provides mandatory rights that cannot legally be displaced by this choice of law.
Before filing a formal legal claim, you and SkedgeIt agree to make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the dispute informally.
You may contact us at legal@justskedgeit.com.
Please include enough information for us to understand the issue and respond.
Unless applicable law provides otherwise, legal proceedings relating to these Terms may be brought in the state or federal courts having jurisdiction in Wayne County, Michigan, and the parties consent to their jurisdiction.
For consumers, this provision does not prevent you from bringing a claim in another court, tribunal, or forum where applicable consumer law gives you a non-waivable right to do so.
These Terms do not require mandatory arbitration and do not contain a class-action waiver.
32. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect:
- changes to SkedgeIt;
- new features;
- changes in law;
- security requirements;
- app-marketplace requirements;
- changes to third-party integrations; or
- changes to our business practices.
The current version of these Terms will identify its effective date and last-updated date.
When a change is material, SkedgeIt will provide notice as required by applicable law.
Notice may be provided within the Service, by email, through the SkedgeIt website, or by another reasonable method.
Where applicable law requires affirmative agreement to a material change, that change will not bind you unless the required agreement is obtained.
33. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Where legally permitted, an unenforceable provision will be interpreted or narrowed in a manner that most closely reflects its intended lawful purpose.
34. No Waiver
If SkedgeIt does not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not waive our right to enforce that provision later.
A waiver of one provision or violation does not constitute a waiver of any other provision or violation.
35. Entire Agreement
These Terms, the SkedgeIt Privacy Notice, any specific promotional or reward terms that apply to you, and applicable app-marketplace purchase terms constitute the agreement governing your use of the Service with respect to the matters they cover.
If specific promotional, subscription, or reward terms expressly conflict with these Terms, the more specific terms control for that particular promotion, subscription, or reward.
